“We, residents of the Netherlands, conclude that there are no social, economic, cultural or moral obstacles to group marriages and, while a free citizen should be able to choose how many people he or she wishes to share his or her life with, we therefore request that the laws hindering this be amended to enable the members of a group of citizens to marry.”
Group Marriages Petition holds office at De Inkijk, from May 2009 to September 2009.
De Inkijk is open from Monday to Friday, from 11.30 am - 5 pm. Here you will find information about the petition and registrations of the project in film video and press.

Artist Francisco Camacho seeks ways in which his work can exist within official social channels. He intends to gather 40,000 signatures for his Group Marriages Petition, submit it to the Dutch Lower House, and gain legal status for group marriage in the Netherlands. At SKOR – de Inkijk, during the months May and June, Camacho will organise a series of events to generate signatures, including a symbolic mass group marriage, debates and a ‘honeymoon quiz’.
