To reach out to diverse audiences, a multi-layered activities programme is designed. The public programme consists of symposia, lectures, talks by artists, workshops, platforms, debates and tours to the project sites. SKOR organises an annual series of lectures concerning urgent issues related to contemporary art practices and public space. SKOR’s aim with its public programme is to contribute to the debate about art and public space; serving as a means of communicating and discussing SKOR’s projects and vision, as well as contributing to the international discourse and provision of information concerning art practices in the public domain.

The Inkijk is part of the former sewage works in which SKOR is housed. The surroundings in which it stands, along the busy road and a stone’s throw from the Rijksmuseum, makes it a choice spot for a presentation space. SKOR regularly presents works from various artists in De Inkijk. A number of special presentations were realised in the past: the building took on the appearance of an interactive jukebox, a hairdressing saloon, a miniature exhibition space and in the winter - with video projections - a magic lantern.
